Planning for next year’s Exhibition is now underway. At the time of writing this in November, the exhibition leaflets have been agreed and are being printed. Southern Federation has been contacted and has agreed to distribute some of these leaflets at the Alexandra Palace Exhibition in January and as enclosures with their newsletter.

All of the traders who attended last year’s Exhibition have agreed to return, with the exception so far of Axminster Power Tools who have yet to confirm. Geoff Stait (formerly with Reeves) has also agreed to support us with a Stand for his new business..

The Committee urgently require the names of members who are prepared to help out at the exhibition, especially in setting up on the Friday, with stewarding and as overnight security sleepers.

The model database needs to be brought up to date. If you have not already done so, please register your models with the database manager as soon as possible.

We are looking for a chief steward to help make the exhibition run smoothly. If you are interested and would like to know more then please contact me as soon as possible.

Following last year’s exhibition when we had exhibits from Wellsprings School, this year the pupils of Creech St Michael Primary School have been invited to submit some working exhibits. The headmaster is very keen to forge links with us and we must wait to see what develops from this.

If anyone would like any further information, please contact me.

Gerry Willis (Exhibition Manager)
