Vivary Park

The 21st of October saw the last public running day of the summer season. The year has been an “up and down” year because of the varying weather conditions but we carried approximately 3400 passengers so it cannot be said that it was an unsatisfactory running season! Many thanks to all the drivers, with either their steam or electric locomotives for carrying all of these passengers and for helping to raise the associated revenue for Club funds. The support team and the cake making team are all greatly appreciated. The diet starts now to make room for next year!

Once again, my thanks to you all.

Bristol Model Engineering Exhibition

TME had a Stand in Hall One for the first time this year and we were able to display a wide range of models from a large 4” Traction Engine downwards, giving the public a good idea of the scope of the activities of our club. We also displayed pictures of the Creech St. Michael track and progress there so far. We have been given the same Stand again for next year and will need more models to put on an even better show. Many thanks to all who manned the Stand during the weekend and provided models for it.
