These last three months have been quite remarkable with so much progress made - the Exhibition is behind us once more - the Vivary Park raised track extension has been built and is in use with significant progress already made this year at Creech with the Ground Level Track. Full reports on all of these is included in the magazine. I think that we all breathe a sigh of relief when the Exhibition is safely over - it takes considerable organisation and a lot of time has to be devoted to it - especially by the Exhibition Manager. The last few hours running up to it can be stressful although the Exhibition itself is a very happy occasion where we very much enjoy meeting and greeting our visitors. Gerry must be a glutton for punishment as he is already talking about next year’s event. The whole Society is grateful to him for his efforts - and for his tenacity! The “Oily Rag” is again very full this quarter and so far, there has been no shortage of material for it. I would however, very much welcome further contributions and would be very pleased if a few more members picked up their pens and let me have an article - of any length - for it. Please do not leave it for others to do! Tony The views and articles featured in this magazine do not necessarily represent the views of all the Committee, Officers and Members.
