It was always my intention to have a “Letters” column in this magazine, but I am disappointed that members seem reluctant to write to me with comments, enquiries or suggestions about anything relating to our hobby and our Club. We do have over one hundred members - each having a wide knowledge and experience about something and there must be something that YOU want to ask about, comment on or suggest which will be of benefit to others. We are all faced with the question at some time or other - ”How am I going to do this?” and with the wealth of knowledge and experience available within the Club, then please do not hesitate to ask for help. If needs be, a pen name can be used - as long I am aware who the writer really is. So come onlet’s hear from you! A tremendous amount of progress has been achieved at both Tracks since the last “Oily Rag” came out and congratulations to the teams who have worked so hard. Full reports on the progress are covered in this issue. The “Oily Rag” was entered into the competition for Club Magazines organised by “Engineering in Miniature” again last year and came second with a prize of £50 for our funds. Every little helps!
