I am very grateful that so many members have come forward with exhibits already for this year, so that the last minute panic of last year should be avoided. Please keep them coming and as soon as possible – the more the merrier for all.

There will be some changes within the ranks of the Traders this year as some who have attended in previous years have told me that age and distance have increased beyond reasonable tolerances for them to come again. We do however, still have Tracy Tools, JB Cutting Tools, Noggin End Metals, Cheddar Valley Steam, HJT Tools, Axminster Tools, Western Steam and Hotspur Designs who have all signed up again. If you have any requirements from any of them, then why not order now and arrange to pick up your order at the Exhibition as in this way we can prove to the Traders the value of associating with us. I am approaching some other Traders to come so that we can ensure that we have a wide selection of tools and materials on offer and please let me know if you know of any that may be of interest to the members.

All the magazines have been notified of the Exhibition and advertisements will appear next month. Flyers will be out by the time you read this. These will be in the same format as before as changing the artwork and general design needed more time for planning.

When telling others about the Exhibition please point out that we have held the entry prices for the third year running and that children under 12 will be free if with an adult. Hopefully this will sow the seeds in some young minds for the future.....

Finally, if you have any influence on the weather would you please arrange for a cold overcast day for us so that we do not have to compete with the beach as we did last year.
